The beads in this necklace are of  Asian origin, which explains the gorgeous  teal color. The gemologist who sold me the beads claimed they were mined on a partiuclar mountain in  a certain province of China. I am making no claims to the authenticity, but I will vow to the gorgeous color. The  round beads are approximately 7mm.  

The beautiful "artisan made" Ethiopean Coptic sterling silver cross is the focal point. The finale is a beautiful hand done sterling silver clasp by the same artist who created the cross.
